# Refund Policy

> Understand our subscription cancellation and refund policies for Noesis.

## 1. Strict "No Refunds" Policy

Due to the significant server resources, computation power, and API costs involved in generating real-time AI responses, branching thought maps, and managing context nodes, **Noesis does not offer refunds or credits for any subscriptions or purchases.**

Once a payment is processed for a billing cycle (monthly or yearly), it is final and non-refundable. We do not provide prorated refunds or credits for partially used billing periods or unused credits.

## 2. Subscription Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Account Settings. Upon cancellation:

* You will continue to have full access to all premium features until the end of your current billing period.
* Your subscription will not renew, and no further automatic charges will be made.
* It is your responsibility to cancel your subscription before the next renewal date if you wish to avoid billing for the subsequent cycle.

## 3. Try Before You Buy

We want you to be completely confident that Noesis fits your research and mapping workflow. To help you evaluate the service, we offer a robust free tier (Origin) that lets you explore branching logic, save threads, and test the interface with basic queries before deciding to upgrade to a paid subscription.

## 4. Payment & Billing Disputes

If you believe you have been charged in error, experienced a duplicate transaction, or encountered an issue with your payment transaction, please contact us immediately at [support@thinknoesis.xyz](mailto:support@thinknoesis.xyz). We will investigate the issue and process corrections where a technical or billing error occurred on our part.
