Noesis offers a free tier (Origin) and paid subscription plans so you can match your subscription to how intensively you use the platform. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time directly from your account settings, and all billing is handled securely through Stripe. This page explains everything you need to know about managing your subscription, understanding your billing cycle, and what to expect if you decide to cancel.

Viewing Your Current Plan

To see which plan you’re on and when your next billing date is:
  1. Click your avatar (top-right) and select Settings.
  2. Navigate to the Subscription tab.
Your current plan, billing cycle (monthly or yearly), next renewal date, and payment method on file are all displayed here.

Upgrading Your Plan

Moving to a higher-tier plan gives you access to more powerful AI models, greater usage limits, real-time collaboration features, and priority support.
1

Open Subscription Settings

Click your avatar in the top-right corner and select Settings → Subscription.
2

Click Upgrade

Click the Upgrade button to open the plan selection screen.
3

Choose a Plan

Select the plan that fits your needs. Toggle between monthly and yearly billing to compare pricing — yearly plans offer a discounted rate. See current plan pricing on the Noesis website.
4

Enter Payment Details

You’ll be taken to a secure Stripe checkout page. Enter your credit or debit card details. Noesis never stores your card information directly — all payment data is handled by Stripe.
5

Confirm Your Upgrade

Click Subscribe to complete the purchase. Your new plan is activated immediately, and you’ll receive a receipt by email.

Downgrading Your Plan

If you want to move to a lower-tier plan or revert to Origin (free):
  1. Go to Settings → Subscription.
  2. Click Change Plan and select the lower tier.
  3. Confirm the downgrade.
Your current plan’s features remain active until the end of your current billing period. At the next renewal date, your account automatically switches to the lower plan. No partial refund is issued for the remainder of the current period.

Cancelling Your Subscription

1

Open Subscription Settings

Go to Settings → Subscription.
2

Click Cancel Subscription

Scroll to the bottom of the Subscription tab and click Cancel Subscription.
3

Confirm Cancellation

Read the cancellation summary, then click Confirm Cancellation to finalize.
4

Continue Using Your Plan

Your subscription will not renew at the next billing date. You retain full access to all your current plan’s features until the end of the billing period you’ve already paid for. After that, your account reverts to the Origin (free) plan.
Cancelling your subscription does not trigger a refund. You will continue to have full access to your paid plan’s features until the end of the current billing period — that period has already been charged and is non-refundable. Plan your cancellation accordingly and cancel before your next renewal date if you want to avoid being charged for the next cycle.

What Happens After Cancellation

When your paid plan expires after cancellation, your account transitions to the free Origin plan. Here’s what that means for your data and features:
  • Your data is safe. All your conversations, branches, spaces, and maps are preserved. Nothing is deleted.
  • Branching and concept mapping remain available. Core features including unlimited conversation branching, merging, and interactive concept maps (session and global) are included in the free Origin plan.
  • Premium model access ends. You’ll be limited to the standard AI models included in the Origin plan.
  • Collaboration features are paused. Real-time collaboration and shared Spaces require a paid plan. Those spaces remain in your account but will require an active paid subscription to use collaboratively.
  • Usage limits adjust. Your usage resets to Origin-tier limits at the start of your next billing cycle.

Billing Cycle

When you subscribe, you choose between monthly or yearly billing:
  • Monthly — billed on the same date each month.
  • Yearly — billed once per year at a discounted rate. See current yearly pricing on the Noesis pricing page.
You can see your exact next billing date in Settings → Subscription.

Payment Methods

Noesis accepts all major credit and debit cards through Stripe. At this time, we do not support PayPal, bank transfers, or cryptocurrency. Noesis never directly stores your card details. All payment information is securely tokenized and managed by Stripe. You can update or replace your payment method at any time in Settings → Subscription → Update Payment Method.

Billing Disputes and Errors

If you believe you’ve been charged in error, received a duplicate charge, or encountered any billing issue, contact us immediately at support@thinknoesis.xyz. Include your account email and a description of the issue. We investigate all reported errors and will process corrections where a technical or billing mistake occurred on our part.

Refund Policy

Noesis operates a strict no-refunds policy. Because each subscription involves significant server resources, compute power, and real-time AI API costs, payments are final once processed — regardless of how much of the billing period you’ve used. We offer a robust free Origin plan so you can fully evaluate branching, concept mapping, and the Noesis interface before committing to a paid subscription. For full details, read the Noesis Refund Policy.
